We certainly got the Tampa Bay Rays attention last year as they are even more sincere in their ability to work with us to make sure it’s another great night at Tropicana Field. I want to thank everyone for their support last year — but clearly our work is not done in changing the attendance around Tropicana Field. My heart tells me though that this is the right thing for our community, for the support of our Rays players and for baseball in general. We must answer to our “attendance challenge” and win by SPIKING our average attendance with a surprise sellout!
